The photographs in the archive document the construction and operation of the entire complex network through which electricity flows and is distributed in Rome. Power plants, substations and receivers still in operation, some located in the city centre, sometimes in monumental buildings, in other cases on the outskirts of the city, in structures that have been integrated into the urban landscape over time.
